I am a 100 percent disabled veteran and interested in starting a group for service women - active duty, retired, and veterans. Although there are some opportunities for service women to obtain professional counseling through the VA and through military family service centers, many women have found these services inaccessible, untrustworthy or too threatening. I am a veteran of 12 years active duty as an Air Force officer. I worked for the Navy for an additional 10 years and have spent the remainder of my career as an educator and counselor. I have plenty of vulnerabilities from my 22 years in the military. I hope there will be others who will be willing to share.

I really like what you said to Marizulu concerning self-esteem issues. You were right on target when you wrote that specific details are important in order for the foumn to provide meaningful feedback.
