I am obsessed with my body. I am a runway model, and being thin is the only thing occupying my thoughts. Seven days a week, twenty four hours a day I am counting calories and starving myself.
I haven't eaten in over twelve hours, and only drink water. What is wrong with me?

The beauty of a woman is noy in the cloths she wears, the figure that she carries, or he way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the caring that she lovingly gives the passion that she shows& the beauty of a woman only growswith passing years." >Audrey Hepburn

why do you think something is wrong with you? Maybe it is your job that is making you feel stressed and htink like that. Does your boss constantly tell you things that make you go to that extreme or is it things you tell yourself?

This is anorexia. There's different types of anorexia and its common in models and many girls actually. Girls tend to be really self consious about their weight. The first kind of anorexia is Restrictive Anorexia. This is when an anorexic who severely limits their caloric intake and/or who exercise to excess to cause weight loss. The second kind is known as purging/binging anorexics. This is when you digest your food and then force yourself to vomit, usually out of guilt of eating. This is often confused with belemia. But belemic people usually keep a specific weight. Purging/Binging can also be done with laxatives. I have restrictive anorexia myself. Im not a model but I always worried about my appearance and weight and starve myself

Hi, Heather. Thanks for responding although you may want to keep in mind that not everybody knows about the laxative thing. I try not to tell people since laxatives and stuff like making yourself throw up are so often learned from other people- it's not something one necessarily goes out and teaches his or herself.

I have Anorexia, and to be honest I think that's what's going on here. I totally understand how you feel. It is what I feel as a person I HAVE to do so that I can hopefully one day be happy with myself. Just don't wait as long as I did to get help, and listen... I didn't and I'm still suffering since I was 10, now I'm 21. I've done it all: LAXATIVES, CUTTING, SUICIDE, THROWING UP, EXCESSIVE WORKOUTS, STARVING, DIETS. It's lead to horrible outcomes.
